A Lunch and Learn seminar was held on July 27th, 2011 at San Lorenzo Terrace Apartments in the Community Room at 12 noon. Dr. Wong talked about insurance benefits including private insurances, Medicare and Medicaid, in addition to hearing loss, the effect of hearing loss and the hearing aid selection process. She also offered video otoscopic examination of the ear canal and ear drum to the attendees.
Residents of San Lorenzo Terrance Apartments as well as non-residents attended this event. Some even scheduled appointments for hearing screenings with Dr. Wong.
Dr. Wong talked about hearing loss and the effect of hearing loss, the hearing aid selection process, Bluetooth and FM technology. She also offered video otoscopic examination of the ear canal and ear drum to the attendees.
Over 30 residents showed up for this event and it was a great success. The attendees thought that it was informative and helpful.
